HBS accepts ONLY the current GMAT, not new test, for the 2023-2024 application cycle!

今年のハーバード受験は現行GMATのみ、他校も追従の流れとなるか?

The Harvard Business School (HBS) MBA application process involves several steps:

  1. Transcript Submission: All candidates must submit transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended. There’s no minimum GPA required for application.
  2. Standardized Tests: Applicants must report official GMAT or GRE scores. For the 2023-2024 application cycle, HBS will not accept the GMAT Focus exam for Round 1 and Round 2 but will accept it for 2+2 applications. HBS also accepts the new GRE exam. Note, a language proficiency exam (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, or Duolingo English Test) is required for non-native English speakers unless they attended a solely English-instructed undergraduate institution.
  3. Complete the AWA portion of the Exam: Applicants must complete the AWA portion of the exam, however, they do not need the results to submit the application. HBS also accepts online versions of the GMAT and GRE.
  4. Essays: Applicants need to answer a question about what they would like the admission board to know about their candidacy for the MBA program. Joint program applicants must also provide an essay detailing the expected benefits of their joint degree experience professionally and personally.
  5. Recommendations: Two recommendations need to be submitted online by the application deadlines. The recommendations should fill out a personal qualities and skills grid and answer two additional questions.
  6. Resume Submission: Applicants must submit a standard business resume or CV.

Note: The HBS MBA program is designed for students with at least two years of full-time work experience prior to matriculation.
